چکیده

Transform domain communication system (TDCS) has been proposed as a new kind of intelligent wireless communication system, which has the advantages of adaptive interference avoidance capability and low probability of intercept (LPI). Different from the traditional communication system suppressing interference at the receiver, TDCS synthesizes an adaptive fundamental modulation waveform (FMW) in the transform domain which evades the interference regions at the transmitter. In this paper we investigate the system performance of the TDCS by exploiting M-ary cyclic shift keying (CSK) modulation. The numerical results show that the M-ary CSK based TDCS can provide low bit error rate (BER) in the presence of single tone interference. With the increase of the order M-ary, the system has significant BER improvements. Furthermore, the transmission bit rate and bandwidth efficiency are also increased by the M-ary CSK based TDCS. Key-Words: Interference avoidance, low probability of intercept, M-ary cyclic shift keying, transform domain communication system, fundamental modulation waveform.

Spread Spectrum (SS) modulation principle has been widely used in digital watermarking due to its distinguishing characteristics viz. excellent security and robustness in performance. The use of wide spectrum of the host signal in message hiding process puts a limit on the data rate subject to a given embedding distortion. In SS communication the use of M– ary modulation is a popular extension ...

Channel Effect Compensation in OFDM System under Short CP Length Using Adaptive Filter in Wavelet Transform Domain

Channel estimation in communication systems is one of the most important issues that can reduce the error rate of sending and receiving information as much as possible. In this regard, estimation of OFDM-based wireless channels using known sub-carriers as pilot is of particular importance in frequency domain. In this paper, channel estimation under short cyclic prefix (CP) in OFDM system is con...

Fractional Fourier Transform Based OFDMA for Doubly Dispersive Channels

The performance of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) system degrades significantly in doubly dispersive channels. This is due to the fact that exponential sub-carriers do not match the singular functions of this type of channels. To solve this problem, we develop a system whose sub-carriers are chirp functions. This is equivalent to exploiting Fractional Fourier Transform (F...
